My kids

The girls with my grandma. Easter 2007

My children are so beautiful, smart, and funny. I am a bit inclined to lean that way because I'm their mom. I love children...period. They are awesome little creatures, with a clean slate, and I envy them so much! My oldest is 10, and is so freakin smart. She can read at least 3 levels above her age level, and always gets A's and B's in school. She loves science, social studies, and history. She wants to be a Veterenarian, or a Teacher. She is musically talented, but hasn't found her instrument yet. She wants to play Sax when she starts Band next year. That is because her Daddy played that, and we happen to have one. I told her she does not need to play Oboe because it's too expensive...that is what I played. I was constantly spending ( well, my mom was anyway) money on reeds or reed supplies, and they never lasted more than a week, unless I just didn't practice. I want her to be able to experience Music her way. She is really good at identifying songs on the radio within the first couple notes of the song. This morning, she recognized Prince's 1999 song within the first couple of seconds. Needless to say I was impressed. She is unique, and I'm happy that she is.

That is Brittany with our Chihuahua Peanut. Brittany with a lunch lady clown.

My youngest daughter Emily was a surprise. My husband was really hoping for a boy, but when she got here, they had to whisk her away to intensive care, and at that point, all he cared about was that she was ok. She has had him wrapped around her finger since then. She is a little mockingbird, and likes to copy people. I love her blonde hair and amazing blue eyes...She looks alot like her big sister, and loves to play with her. She also loves animals, and doesn't seem to be afraid of anything as of yet. She carries our ferrets around the house, and chases after the cat, who lets her lay on him, and pet him the way she wants to. She makes little chook chook sounds when she sees an animal, and I love watching her face light up, and her little baby cackle, when she's happy. She has always been a very happy baby, and pretty easy. She really hasn't been a problem at all. Her daddy stays home with her and has bonded with her, which is nice. I stayed home with Brittany, so she's kind of bonded to me. Emily is just one of those kids you just want to sit and play with, no matter what is going on in your life. She is quite a toot, but i believe she is going to have a fantastic personality, just like her sister. They are going to wreak Havoc on the world with their beauty and laughter. I guess it's time to invest in a stun gun for any boys who might have less than honorable intentions!!!! I probably won't have to worry about that though. I think their Dad has already vowed to kill anyone who messes with them, lol. I love my girls!!!

Gotta love that Baby Drool!!! Emily with my mom on July 4th. 07
