Rock Band

OK. We bought Guitar hero a while back, and I'm addicted to that...well not addicted, but I like playing it. ALOT. I'm actually not too bad at it. NOW however, we have ROCK BAND, which is EVEN BETTER!!! I tried drums on a couple of songs...and it is really fun! I just don't have "rock rythm" according to my husband, who apparantly does, because he is really good, at least on the easy setting. We have 30 more songs to go before we beat the game at Easy, and then...onto Medium...Oh Crap!!! I think I'm going to be in trouble at that level. The coolest thing about this game is that you can have a full band...guitar, drums, lead singer, and bass player. We don' t have an extra guitar for the bass player, but you can choose bass or guitar on the menu. I sang a couple of songs, and my daughter played guitar, and my husband drummed, and then we switched out. Emily actually got into it so much that she brought a little drum out of her room and was playing it!!! That made me smile! Our family Rock Band, how sweet, and cool, at the same time.
We dont' have time to play all the time, but one hour is enough to go through a couple of songs. We already have an accoustic guitar, an electric bass guitar, a small set of bongos ( Brittany's) a saxophone, and an oboe, as well as a few percussion instruments, tambourine, cow bell and rythm sticks, and of course a Keyboard! So we're set if we really want to start our own band, LOL. I'm just happy they have this kind of game now, for the music lovers :)
Now we just need a game for the artists...a palet of colors and a blank screen (canvas), and a tutorial on how to paint the masterpieces! Wouldn't that be fab? :)
