Pets

This picture is on my profile, but it's a good picture of me and my
Puppy peanut. He is always following me around and is very
upset if I don't pet him or say hello to him when I come inside. If
anyone has watched the Golden Compass, they will know that each person
has what is called a daemon that is their "soul" animal, connected to them through
some sort of magic in that realm. Children's can still change shape, but as the
daemons settle, they stop changing form. Brittany says that Peanut is my daemon, lol :)

This is a picture of Brittany with our late pet, Sugar. She ran away :( Got outside somehow. Was a very sweet and playful ferret, very social, and we loved her so much. We have 3 now. They are really cool pets, and our kids love them. Sure they stink if you don't change their cage, or bathe them, but they are so much fun!! Despite the fact that they steal everything they possibly can!~ I have a stash of candy bars in my bottom drawer of my dresser, that Spice..our large Male Ferret has commandeered. If I try to move them, he gets a little upset, and grabs what he can to hide it somewhere else. The only thing I don't like about them is that they poop outside of their cage on occasion, and I hate finding it behind a box, or dresser somewhere and having to clean up a massive pile that they have decided to bestow on me. Thanks guys! :)

Brittany with all 3 of our current Ferrets. The Biggest one

is Spice. The new White one is Alaska, and the little one

is Tater Tot. She is the oldest at 5. The other two are 3 and 4

Our Cat Sterling. We've had him since Brittany was 1 1/2. he has always been a great cat. Very sweet. No front claws, or he would have ripped us up by now! He loves sleeping in baskets, and boxes, and also likes to wake us up in the morning before the alarm goes off...MEOW MEOW MEOW. Emily has began to copy him, and every time she sees him now ,she meows, or she lays on him. He is incredibly patient, and is mellowing out some in his old age. He likes to flop down and be petted, and walk all over us when we are trying to get to sleep. He's also very spoiled being the only cat left in our house. He loves to play with our ferrets, and will run off with a cute little trill with his tail puffed up in the air. I wish I could find a pic of him doing that! He is part Maine Coone, which is an awesome breed of cat. very smart, playful, and loving. He is definitely part of our family!
